Course Description

This course facilitates the transition of the student to the role of an LPN. Concepts related to teamwork, collaboration, and leadership is presented as well as career development options that enhance career mobility. Advanced discussion around decision making, professional identity/behavior and patient centered care, judgment/evidence based practice, and informatics/technology is introduced.

Compare evidence based resources to find information related to the care of patients with advanced health and safety issues
Categorize rationales for prioritization of care and nursing judgments
Demonstrate methods of building consensus and conflict resolution
