Course Description

This course introduces foundations 3D modeling and animation. Students will explore different aspects of 3D modeling and animation to create interior environments, exterior environments, vehicles, and characters. Students will create textures, light scenes, and apply effects.

Create interior scene models
Create exterior scene models
Produce rigged models
Integrate multiple models into a scene
Demonstrate texture mapping
Apply single and multiple point light schemes
Develop animated models and camera movements
Utilize distributed rendering
Demonstrate 3D production workflows
Produce finished output as still images and video files
