In addition to scholarship support, AVI Systems will also provide a mentor program to assist students on a career path in the audiovisual industry. To be eligible for the scholarship, students must be enrolled full-time in the electronics technology A.A.S. degree program and also meet other requirements outlined in the scholarship application.
“Our goal is to help bring more highly skilled individuals into the audiovisual industry,” said Jeff Stoebner, president and CEO of AVI Systems, noting that as the industry has become more complex, it requires a well-trained workforce to meet customers’ needs.
