toro workman at Hennepin Technical College

BROOKLYN PARK, MINN. – Hennepin Technical College has received a new Workman utility vehicle from The Toro Company that will be used by students in the college’s landscape and horticulture program.

“Toro’s donation is a welcome addition to our program,” said HTC instructor Jay Siedschlaw. “Our students get hands-on training that includes hauling soil, plants and equipment to maintain garden sites around the campus so we really appreciate this utility vehicle.”

HTC’s landscape and horticulture program includes studies in landscape design and construction, landscape horticulture, greenhouse management, and urban forestry. Students may earn a certificate, diploma, or an A.A.S. degree.

For information about the program, contact Jay Siedschlaw at (763) 488-2555 or jay.siedschlaw@hennepintech.edu
