Hennepin Technical College is now proctoring College Level Examination Program (CLEP) Exams. CLEP exams test college level proficiencies and allow students to earn college credit, potentially saving time toward degree completion.

How To Register
- Purchase and register for CLEP test online through College Board.
- Pay the $93 CLEP exam fee online at the time of registration.
- Print your CLEP registration ticket. You will need to bring it to your testing appointment.
Please note: Each registration ticket is valid for six months from the date of purchase. - Email the Testing Center to schedule a proctoring appointment.
- Please include your full name, CLEP test you plan on taking, desired campus, and requested test date.
What should I bring to my CLEP test?
- Your ID: ID must be government issued (driver's license, passport, state ID, etc.)
- Payment: $25 administrative fee (payable to Hennepin Technical College by cash, check or credit card)
- CLEP Registration Ticket for your exam
What materials will be provided by the Testing Center?
- Scratch paper and pencils
- Ear plugs and noise canceling headphones are available
