Scholarships can be a great way to help pay for college. The Hennepin Technical College Foundation offers scholarships for fall and spring semesters.

It's also smart to look for additional scholarships outside of the college or Foundation. Look to local community organizations, like your local Chamber of Commerce, or to professional organizations in the field you are entering. They may offer scholarships to help students in their community or profession.

  • LeadMN Scholarship

LeadMN represent the 180,000 two-year college students in Minnesota to help them transform their lives and their communities. Our students LeadMN by developing leadership skills to realize their potential, see beyond what they thought was possible for personal success, and to drive community-wide change.

LeadMN has two scholarship deadlines: November 1 and April 1.  Visit the LeadMN website for more information and to apply.

  • Twin Cities Adult Education Alliance Scholarship

Hennepin Technical College is a member of the Twin Cities Adult Education Alliance (TCAEA).  TCAEA is an association of Twin Cities metro area public and private colleges and universities that address the educational needs of working adults.

HTC students can apply for the TCAEA Scholarship.  Scholarship amounts typically range from $250-$2,000. 

Apply by the deadline of November 1, 2018 for the Spring 2019 scholarships.

  • Minnesota Association of Counselors of Color Scholarship

Hennepin Technical College is a member of the Minnesota Association of Counselors of Color (MnACC).  MnACC is a non-competitive post-secondary collaborative dedicated to improving access to higher education for Minnesota's students of color. 

HTC students of color can apply for the MnACC Scholarship.  Scholarship amounts typically range from $500-$2,500 to be used towards education during the 2018-19 academic year.  Currently the application process has not opened for this year.  Watch for the scholarship application to open on their website.
