Open Enrollment has begun for MNsure Health Insurance plans. For most people wanting to enroll in Health Insurance through MNsure, this is the time that you can renew or begin a new enrollment.

  • The Affordable Care Act requires that almost all Americans have health insurance.
  • Not having health insurance means that you may pay a penalty fee.
  • Health insurance covers preventative measures such as vaccinations, yearly physicals, etc. Health insurance also reduces the cost you pay if you have a major accident or illness.
  • In Minnesota, you can purchase health insurance through MNsure.org, you may even qualify for free or reduced cost plans!

If you need help with applying or enrolling in Health Insurance plans through MNsure, we have Certified Application Counselors on campus to help you! Contact brenna.hucka@hennepintech.edu for more information.
