Description: • Staff the VRC so that the center is open during the posted hours. • Greet and welcome veteran students and their significant others as well as other visitors interested in veterans issues. • Respond to phone and email inquiries. • Meet with veteran students and their significant others to assess needs and provide information. • Refer veteran students and their significant others to outside resources as needed. • Help organize or maintain involvement in VRC or college events and the Veterans Club. • Light clerical duties including ordering supplies. • Maintain and organize the VRC and VRC equipment and supplies.
Qualifications: Must be a US Military veteran or active military member; must possess good customer service skills and a desire to help others; willingness to participate in organizing or representing the VRC at veteran-related activities; light clerical skills.
