Description: Responsible for preparing and serving a full line of hot, iced and blended coffee drinks in a high volume and fast paced setting. Responds to customer questions and suggestions regarding our menu and service. Must have a commitment to providing exceptional customer service for every customer, every time. • Manages cash and credit transactions for all products to ensure accurate accounting of items sold. • Maintains pleasant and helpful demeanor at all times. • Prepares and serves a full line of hot, iced, and blended coffee drinks. • Enters price changes by referring to price sheets and special sale bulletins. • Discounts purchases by redeeming coupons. • Collects payments by accepting cash, check, or charge payments from customers; making change for cash customers. • Verifies credit acceptance by reviewing and recording driver's license number; operating credit card authorization system. • Balances cash drawer by counting cash at beginning and end of work shift. • Provides pricing information by answering questions. • Maintains checkout operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes. • Maintains safe and clean working environment by keeping work area clean and free of clutter in compliance with company procedures and regulations. • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. • Other duties as assigned.

Description: The Student Experience Team is a group of select students who are dedicated to positively representing Hennepin Technical College (HTC) as peer mentors, representatives at outreach efforts, assistants in the planning and execution of student life activities and events. • Manage the Student Life & Career Center; assisting student clubs and current students with career and campus resources. • Manage the Fitness Center; providing a safe, engaging and healthy environment. • Plan weekly events in the Student Life Center. • Assist in Student Life and Career Development’s college wide events. • Be knowledgeable of academic resources offered on each campus and know when to refer students in order to seek additional assistance. • Work collaboratively with HTC staff, faculty, and Student Experience Team. • Participate in Student Success Initiatives. • Attend all training dates. • Serve as a peer mentor.
Qualifications: • Cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher. • Be in good standing with the college. • Completed at least one semester at HTC. • Completed the FAFSA for the current academic year. • Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. • Exceptional organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to plan and execute events with supervision from Student Life staff. • Ability to work within the Student Life Center hours of operation, plus some evenings and weekends as needed.

Positions: TRIO Office Assistant
Description: The Student Workers are responsible for providing assistance to all new and existing TRIO students with processes including Financial Aid, course registration, and college technology. In addition student workers will support all Grant programs at HTC (SSS, UB, ETS, GEAR UP, Gateway). Student workers will also be expected to assist in the planning, organization, recruiting and promotion of TRIO programs. The student worker will be eligible to work up to 15-20 hours per week, following winter and spring break schedules of the institution they are attending.
Qualifications: • Be in good standing with the college. • Completed the FAFSA for the current academic year. • Strong understanding in navigating E-services, D2L, and myhennepintech email. • Exceptional organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work within the TRIO hours of operation. • Must possess strong leadership qualities and have the ability to function as a team player. • Experience working with a diverse range of students and staff. • Trustworthy, dependable and prompt. • Comprehensive understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft Office. • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written directions which may involve policy and procedural interpretations. • Ability to use tact, discretion and have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. • Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision. • Willing to work flexible hours. • Student must show enthusiasm and a positive attitude.
