Description: The student will create solid models and drawings to support the instructor's curriculum. The student will create 3D printed parts and perform maintenance on 3D printers. Additionally, the student will setup electronics equipment for student labs and help the instructor evaluate new electronic equipment. Organizing, Internet searching, and light cleaning duties may be assigned as well.
Qualifications: Experience or coursework with one or more of the following CAD software: Creo Parametric, Pro/ENGINEER, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or an open source CAD system. Knowledge of 3D printing systems, electronics, and open source software a plus. Ability to lift 20 pounds and organize a workspace.
