HTC dedication ceremony

On Wednesday, January 29, Hennepin Technical College (HTC) held a dedication ceremony for new classroom spaces in the Information Technology & Cyber Defense program.

The ribbon-cutting event celebrated the remodeling of three large, state-of-the-art classrooms on the Brooklyn Park campus.

The new classrooms feature state-of-the-art technology and impressive collaborative workspaces. Students are better prepared for career success when they are learning in classrooms that replicate the environment they will be working in upon graduation.

Information technology is an in-demand career throughout the region. HTC is advancing IT education by adding new associate degrees and certificates in areas such cyber security and cyber defense.
