Environmental Health & Safety is an expanding field which incorporates many topics needed to deal with potentially hazardous workplace conditions.  Environmental Health & Safety functions are preformed in compliance with Federal, State, and Local regulations.  Students receive training to be able to recognize, evaluate, and control situations which may be harmful to human health and/or the environment.  Occupational responsibilities may include any of the following:  emergency response, hazardous materials/waste management, compliance inspections, industrial hygiene, sample collection and analysis.
