Fluid Power Program Award Outcomes

• Analyze blueprints, schematics, diagrams, and drawings to determine fabrication specification.

• Interpret wear on components to identify component or system problems and evaluate the possibilities of repair.

• Connect component to test equipment and record data for evaluation of equipment and systems.

• Identify the need for modification in maintenance procedures, test procedures, instrumentation or setup, based on results.

• Consult with customers to explain systems and possibly design/repair enhancements.

• Understand proper application and demonstrate the use of hand and power tools common to the fluid power field. 

• Demonstrate an ability to understand and follow fluid power blueprints, drawings, and schematics.

• Fabricates, assembles services, maintains, repairs, and tests fluid power equipment.
