When Can I Register?

Spring Semester 2010 Registration Dates

September 1 Transfer transcripts received after September 1 may not be evaluated and counted toward number of credits earned
September 18 Application for Award Forms for students graduating Spring semester must be submitted to Registrar in order to be considered for priority registration.
September 30 Spring schedule available online
October 5-9 Spring Advising Week—Advising for Spring semester should be completed with faculty this week.
October 26

Spring Semester Registration Begins (see below for the time and date you can register)

    7 a.m. Spring semester graduates (must submit Application for Award form by September 18 and have 18 or less credits left to complete award).

    10 a.m. 60+ credits earned

    1 p.m. 40+ credits earned

    4 p.m. 32+ credits earned

    7 a.m. 26+ credits earned
    10 a.m. 21+ credits earned

    1 p.m. 17+ credits earned
    4 p.m. 14+ credits earned

October 28

    7 a.m. 12+ credits earned
    10 a.m. 10+ credits earned


    1 p.m. 8+ credits earned
    4 p.m. 7+ credits earned
October 29

    7 a.m. 6+ credits earned
    10 a.m. 5+ credits earned


    1 p.m. 4+ credits earned
    4 p.m. 3+ credits earned

October 30

    7 a.m. 2+ credits earned
    10 a.m. 1+ credits earned enrolled in 1st semester courses)

November 2 7 a.m. New admitted students (completed the admissions intake process)
2 p.m. New PSEO students
November 3 Open Registration

Registration Hours: Monday-Thursday 7a.m.- 6p.m.; Friday 7a.m.-4:30p.m.

November 12 College Preview Night at 6:30 p.m.
November 13 Last day to submit an Application for Award for the Fall semester graduation ceremony and have your name included in the program. Last day to place an online order for cap and gown packages for the Fall semester graduation ceremony.
December 4 LAST DAY FOR STUDENTS TO WITHDRAW FROM FALL SEMESTER COURSES
December 17 HTC Fall Graduation Ceremony, Eden Prairie Campus Auditorium (times for each program will be posted on the HTC website under the Graduation link)
December 19 Fall semester ends
January 4
  • Spring semester tuition is due.
  • All agency authorizations (including veterans) need to be at HTC
  • Financial aid must be finalized
January 11-15 Free drop/add period
January 11 Spring semester begins
May 5 LAST DAY FOR STUDENTS TO WITHDRAW FROM SPRING SEMESTER COURSES
May 19 Spring semester ends
