| Does HTC accept the GI Bill? | Yes. The school's VA officials are located in the Financial Aid office. |
| How do I claim my veteran education benefits? | Meet with the certifying official and complete all required forms. |
| Do I need to let my campus VA certifying official know when I get registered? | YES! This will assure your benefits are processed by HTC in a more timely manner. |
| What happens if I get called to Active Duty? | Notify your certifying official. They will need a copy of your orders, and help you complete the HTC add/drop form. They will then have the Registrar cancel your enrollment and initiate the full tuition refund process. |
| How long does it take the VA to process a claim? | It is currently taking the VA Regional Processing Office 12 weeks to process a claim. |
| Do I have to verify my enrollment with the VA? | Chapter 30 (Montgomery GI Bill Active Duty) and Chapter 1606 (Montgomery GI Bill Selected Reserve) student veterans must do monthly verification of enrollment before the VA will release payment. |
| How do I verify my enrollment with the VA? | You can verify your monthly enrollment on-line through WAVE or call 1-877-823-2378. |
| How do I contact the VA? | Right Now Web (preferred) is the secure on-line method through the VA's Question and Answer page. Or call 1-888-442-4551. |

| Will my benefits be affected if I change my declared major? | No. But you must meet with your certifying official to complete the necessary VA form so they can continue certifying your enrollment. |
