Award Description: This certificate prepares the Public Safety Responder, Police, Fire, EMS or Emergency Management to be able to handle responses to hazardous material spills. It will prepare them to be members of public hazardous materials response teams. It meets the requirements of OSHA 1910.120 and NFPA 472. 
Career Opportunities: Completion of this certificate prepares public safety professionals to be members of public hazardous materials response teams.
