HTC Alumni Information

Hennepin Technical College’s Alumni Association is a part of the college that provides information and services for alumni and generates support for the college and its students.

Anyone who has attended Hennepin Technical College since its beginnings is invited to become active in the Alumni Association. Individuals who have earned a certificate, diploma or degree from HTC are automatically members of the Alumni Association.  Individuals who have completed a course or semester at HTC may also be classified as members.  Currently, more than 15,000 individuals are members of the Alumni Association.  67% of these alumni live in Minnesota.

This spring we celebrated the 35th Anniversary of the college. Hennepin Technical College, initially named Suburban Hennepin County Area Vocational-Technical Institute, opened in the fall of 1972. Throughout the next year, we will be hosting special events and activities to celebrate our 35 years. We want you to be part of the celebration.

We would like to identify as many students and graduates as possible. Please complete the Alumni Update Form to update your contact information or share your success with us. We will add you to the mailing list for future mailings, and possibly tell of your success in an upcoming newsletter or on our website. .

As a way to recognize college alumni, we have established an Alumni Giving Club. Your tax-deductible gift will provide support for scholarships and alumni programs. In keeping with the 35-year theme, we have established giving levels around the number 35. Please consider making a gift of a multiple of 35 - $35, $70, $140, … $3500 or more. Make your gift online or download and print the HTC Foundation Donation Form (PDF) for mail-in donations.

With your gift, you will be featured in the Alumni Giving Club on our donor recognition wall and in college publications.

As alumni, you are stewards of our college and caretakers of our legacy. Together, we carry on the HTC tradition of excellence.
